Family Success Planning
Family Success Planning is at the heart of our work in helping families achieve goals they define for themselves on their pathway to the American Dream. Every family living in the GOODZone has access to a dedicated team of supportive services through Family Success Planning, most notably their Family Success Coach. Families work with their Success Team to develop an Individualized Family Success Plan that helps them identify focus areas for achieving the American Dream such as: career training and workforce development, housing security, financial literacy, health, overall wellness, childcare, and transportation.
What you'll get:
Resilience.
We recognize your resilience and empower you with tools to help you move forward. These tools include Parent Cafes and community circles to connect with other parents about daily life and challenges.
Connections.
You are not alone. We'll connect you with other families on a similar path so you can lean on each other! You'll find plenty of opportunity to build community with each other.
Support.
You get direct support from our Family Success Coaches and Youth Success Advocates. We help you stay on track with your goals, and we are also available to help meet real needs, like a ride to work, securing childcare, or access to fresh food.
Parenting.
We offer parenting help to SW parents and kids succeed. Our team provides access to parenting resources to help you do GOOD by your kids.
Confident Kids.
Your kids will learn the skills they need to be confident and thrive. Supporting our youth in families on the different ways to properly communicate encourages positive relationships in and outside the home.
